ABOUT ME

I'm Jenni, a first-generation Guatemalan-American deeply connected to my “Chapina” roots. The vibrant, hand-loomed textiles of my heritage have been a source of inspiration throughout my life. When I visited Guatemala in 2015, I couldn't resist bringing back a few of the eccentric fabrics. Over time, my collection grew to include over 13 distinct patterns, each representing a cherished memory. Rather than letting them languish in storage, I felt compelled to share their beauty in a contemporary way, thus giving birth to ChapinaLoveShop.

Sustainability & circularity is a core value of mine, and it's been woven into the fabric of this brand. By repurposing second-hand farbics, garments and upcycling unused fabrics, I aim to extend their lifespan and divert them from landfills. What's truly special about these pieces is their uniqueness; each one carries a story and a pattern you're unlikely to find elsewhere. With a heart full of love and a desire to connect, this is my way of sharing that with you.
